Golmaal Again Becomes The Highest Grosser Of 2017 So Far!

This Diwali the audience was treated to the magnum opus Golmaal Again which received outstanding appreciation from all quarters. Not only did the audience go out in huge numbers to watch the film, Golmaal created many trend-setting records too. The movie performed extremely well at the box office in its first week but the real game began in the second week and this is where collections of this Rohit Shetty directed film continued to impress. In fact, there is no other Hindi release of 2017 that has managed such huge collections in its second week and this is where Golmaal Again sits right at the top. What is impressive is that the movie has now become the highest grosser of the year 2017 and has raked in Rs. 183 Crore so far.

 

The film not just found good momentum coming its way in the second weekend, it has maintained steady footfalls during the weekdays as well, what with 3.78 crore more coming on the second Wednesday. For the multi-starrer to manage that on its 13th day is quite remarkable.  The overseas collection of Rs. 41 crores too was quite impressive.

Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn have worked together in 10 films (Zameen, Golmaal: Fun Unlimited, Sunday, Golmaal Returns, All the Best: Fun begins, Golmaal 3, Singham, Bol Bachchan, Singham Returns and Golmaal Again) out of which 8 have been super hits (Golmaal: Fun Unlimited, Golmaal Returns, All the Best: Fun begins, Golmaal 3, Singham, Bol Bachchan, Singham Returns and Golmaal Again).   

Currently, the movie is growing strong with each passing day and we are sure that in the days to come Golmaal Again will continue to break records.
