It is said that acting for a comedy role and portraying the role of a villain are probably the hardest things to do for an actor. One such performer who has charted his own course by portraying different roles in multiple projects is the talented actor Sahil Vaid. From portraying the role of a loyal friend (Badrinath ki dulhania & Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania) to an ordinary Faizabadi citizen (Bankchor) to a cancer patient (Dil Bechara), the actor has proved his exceptional acting prowess every time. The actor is now all set to entertain viewers with this one of a kind musical web-series- ‘The Socho Project’, but in a completely different avatar!

The story of the series revolves around seven struggling musicians who are trying to navigate their way through the Indian music industry, which is dominated by monopolistic labels that do not offer musicians any autonomy or originality. And, stepping into the shoes of one such exploitative music producer who has turned out to be like this out of circumstances is the versatile actor Sahil Vaid. A strong headed and rich music producer who is associated with a big music label! While the actor will be seen in a dark role after a span of three years, Sahil is all set to take your excitement quotient a notch higher with his impeccable performance in the series.

Sharing his thoughts, Sahil expressed, “Firstly I am very happy to be associated with a project with such an intriguing story line. The moment I heard the narration of the story and the details about my character, I was hooked on to the project. For the first time ever, I will be portraying a role of a music producer but what’s interesting about my character is the different layers to his personality which makes it more challenging and interesting to essay. I hope audiences enjoy seeing this side of me and shower their love like always.”
