The Zoya Akhtar directorial Gully Boy starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt is witnessing a spectacular run at the box office. The film received a thumbs up from the critics and is seeing a fantastic run at the box office. The film got a phenomenal opening of Rs 19.40 crores approximately. The film has garnered Rs 32 crores after garnering Rs 13 crore on Friday. The film has witnessed an astounding growth on its 3rd day too.

The film garnered Rs 18.50 crore on Saturday. The film has shown a major growth in the metropolitan cities. The effective word of mouth has further worked wonders for the film. The film has went to break quite a few records with its opening collections. Hollywood sensation Will Smith also praised Ranveer Singh saying, 'Yo, Ranveer! Congrats, man! The film is loosely based on the life of underground rappers Divine and Naezy. The film also stars Vijay Raaz, Sidhant Chaturvedi and Kalki Koechlin in pivotal roles.
