Hardik Pandya's Ex Girlfriend Elli AvrRam Finally Breaks Her Silence On His Koffee With Karan Controversy!
Posted on 19 Jan, 2019
Cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul recently had made some misogynistic and inappropriate comments on the show Koffee With Karan which was not taken too well by the netizens with the Me Too movement gaining such a strong foothold in the country. Hardik boasted of having a physical relationship with many women. He made statements like telling his mother, 'Aaj Main Karke Aaya Hain' after the first time he lost his virginity. KL Rahul too had to face the brunt of the backlash. Even Hotstar took down the controversial episode.
The cricketers also faced a suspension owing to comments made by them on the show. However Hardik also posted an apology on his social media stating, 'After reflecting on my comments on Koffee with Karan, I would like to apologise to everyone concerned who I may have hurt in any way. Honestly, I got a bit carried away with the nature of the show. In no way did I mean to disrespect or hurt anyone's sentiments.' But it certainly did not undo the damage.

Hardik Pandya was rumored to have been dating Bollywood actor Elli AvrRam. The two were together for a brief period of time. Their pictures too went viral on numerous occasions. When Elli was asked to comment on the ongoing controversy at a recent event, she said that she was not aware about this whole fiasco as she was out of the country. She added that she was however disappointed when she saw the viral video of Pandya from the show.
She said, 'I got a little bit surprised because that's not really the Hardik Pandya I personally once used to know! I think it's great that people are reacting and putting their foot down on this kind of behaviour because it's about time we all realize that this kind of mentality is not cool. Neither is it something to brag about.'
Well, we absolutely agree with Elli and believe that one should not brag openly with such misogynistic mentality towards women which is certainly not cool on the era of women empowerment and the uproar of the Me Too movement.
