Here Is To Yami Gautam Who Has Definitely Hit The Right Note In The Film Uri: The Surgical Strike!
Yami Gautam has been winning accolades for her performance in the film Uri: The Surgical Strike. The actress plays Pallavi Sharma, an intelligence officer and she seems to have aced the challenging role in just the right way. She shares the screen space with Vicky Kaushal and Paresh Rawal in the film but the actress has definitely left a foothold of her own amongst the versatile cast.
The actress delivered a confident and restrained act in the film getting all the nuances of her role right. Yami did not once was seen putting excessive efforts into the character getting all the aspects of her character right. Her body language, dialogue delivery and the thought process of her character was captured perfectly by her. The most important highlight was that the actress was quite natural in her performance. 

Given that the actress shared the screen space with talented actors like Paresh Rawal and Vicky Kaushal, Yami seemed to be at ease while in her performance and kept her act as realistic as possible. Yami Gautam may not have many physically draining scenes in the film like Vicky Kaushal but the actress quite owned the intensely gruelling scenes in the background. The actress has definitely hit the right note with this one.
Seems like Yami has moved over from just playing the damsel in distress in films like Badlapur and Kaabil and she is exploring some brief but strong roles in recent times. She played the fiery lawyer last year in the film Batti Gul Meter Chalu which garnered her a lot of praises. Looking at the type of roles the actress has been exploring in recent times, we are reminded of her impressive debutante act as Ashima in the film Vicky Donor where she starred opposite Ayushmann Khurrana.
