Here's Looking At The Stunning Evolution Of Salman Khan And Katrina Kaif's Pairing At The Box Office Over The Years, Will This Be A Turning Point For Bharat?
There are some iconic pairings in our film industry and hands down, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif is definitely one of them. There is unspoken vulnerability and innocence with them on the screen. There is some effortless magic which works for them on screen. The fact that they both share a strong compatibility in real life too reflects on their bond on screen. With their latest outing Bharat, they are again all set to recreate their compatibility onscreen. Let us thus, look at how their chemistry evolved over the years.

1- Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya (2005)
This film saw Katrina Kaif who was just learning the dynamics of the industry being paired opposite Salman Khan for the first time. The comedy caper was a huge hit and also starred Sushmita Sen and Sohail Khan in pivotal roles. There was definitely a freshness in their chemistry. Despite of the rawness, their camaraderie looked promising. Kat still needed a lot more room to perform but it was evident that she had a sense of comfort with Salman onscreen. Nevertheless, the film proved to be a huge blockbuster. This surely paved the way for their magical coupling.

2- Partner (2007)
Katrina Kaif was not paired with Salman Khan in the film but it was just another continuation of their collaboration. Katrina showcased a growth in her performance even though the film had the contribution of stalwarts like Salman and Govinda 

3- Yuvraaj (2008)
The film had their fairytale chemistry onscreen but failed to work wonders at the box office. We can confidently say that their chemistry and their lovely soundtracks were one of the highlights of the film. Who can forget their dreamy camaraderie in the song Tu Muskura? It was evident that their chemistry was blossoming into a strong foundation.

4- Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahaani (2009)
Well, this was funny and awkward at the same time, remember Salman's cameo in the film? He just stole the show with one dialogue addressed to Ranbir Kapoor. Salman's cameo left us laughing in splits in the film and Kat addressing him as 'Sallu' was the cherry on the cake.

4- Bodyguard (2011)
The film starred Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan and proved to be a blockbuster at the box office. But it was Katrina's scintillating dance number with Salman in a cameo which stole the show. Their incessant number of cameos in each others' films just proved that she had each other's back always.

5- Ek Tha Tiger (2012)
By now SalKat was a bonafide hit pair. Fans went berserk when these two came together for the Kabir Khan directorial spy action film. The two played international agents in the film and performed some hard core action sequences. But their vulnerable chemistry stood out in the whole time. This truly paved the way for another sequel of the film. This film was actually a turning point for this pair. Fans soon starting rooting for this pair.

6- Tiger Zinda Hain (2017)
Well, this was a certified hit as we were all waiting for our Tiger and Zoya to come back with a bang. The film had some redefined badass stunts and soundtrack along with their even more scintillating chemistry. The film as predicted proved to be the biggest blockbuster of the year. It was the pure magic of their chemistry which added wonders to the fate of the film. It was just a matter if time, when the two would soon come to together again to entice us.

7- Bharat (2019)
It was as if the universe wanted these two to come again to charm us. After it was informed that Katrina Kaif will be stepping into the shoes of Priyanka Chopra for the film, it was a moment of rejoice for all the fans. With sporting different looks to sharing an impeccable chemistry, their camaraderie seems like a highlight of the film.

Well, it will be just a matter of time to see whether their coupling will emerge victorious this time. But irrespective of the film's fate, this is undeniable that they are truly one of the  most dynamic couples of the industry. Are you excited to see them in Bharat?
