India's Manushi Chillar Crowned Miss World 2017!

The 54th Femina Miss India World, Manushi Chhillar wins the prestigious title of Miss World 2017. A medical student from Haryana, Manushi Chhillar gets the crown back to the country after 17 years, The last time, Priyanka Chopra won the jewel in 2000.

Competing with beauties from over 108 nations, Manushi won hearts and was crowned in the Sanya City Arena in China PR by Miss World 2016 winner Puerto Rico's Stephanie Del Valle, edged out top five contestants from England, France, Kenya and Mexico.

In question and answer round post getting the top five spot, Manushi was asked: “Which profession deserves the highest salary and why?”
And like the star that she was, she said that the mother of the highest respect. “I think a mother is of highest respect. I don’t think its just about cash but love and respect she gives to someone. She is the biggest inspiration in my life. Mother should get highest respect," she explained.

The 20-year old won the Head to Head Challenge and the Beauty with a Purpose titles, earlier this evening.
