Is Kiara Advani Upset with the 'Game Changer' Team? Actress Skips Promotions Amid Speculations
The buzz around Shankar’s highly anticipated political action thriller, Game Changer, has reached a fever pitch ahead of its January 10 release. However, one glaring absence has raised eyebrows, actress Kiara Advani has been conspicuously missing from the film's promotional activities.

Kiara, who plays the love interest of Ram Charan's character Ram Nandan in the film, was notably absent from the trailer launch events held in Hyderabad and Mumbai. The trailer, unveiled on January 2 at a mega event in Hyderabad by SS Rajamouli, focused heavily on Ram Charan and the film’s political narrative. Interestingly, Kiara’s presence on promotional posters has also been minimal, leading to speculation about possible differences between the actress and the production team.
The promotions for Game Changer have clearly been designed to spotlight Ram Charan, who plays dual roles, Appanna, a political leader, and Ram Nandan, an IAS officer. The film marks director Shankar’s maiden foray into Telugu cinema, with SJ Suryah also playing a pivotal role. Kiara’s absence from the marketing blitz, however, has sparked rumors about her discontent with the project.

When questioned about Kiara’s no-show at the Mumbai meet-and-greet event, the movie’s PR team clarified that the actress is hospitalized due to health concerns. However, this statement has raised more questions than answers, as Kiara has not addressed her health or absence on her social media platforms, leaving fans puzzled.
This isn’t the first time Kiara and Ram Charan have shared screen space. The duo previously starred in Vinaya Vidheya Rama (2019), a film that failed to impress audiences or critics.
Despite her absence, Kiara Advani’s career shows no signs of slowing down. She will next be seen in War 2, alongside Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR, a film that promises to be one of the biggest action spectacles of the year. Additionally, she is reprising her role in SatyaPrem Ki Katha 2, reuniting with Kartik Aaryan for the sequel to their blockbuster romantic drama.

Ram Charan, on the other hand, is on a career high after the global success of RRR. Following Game Changer, he is set to start work on RC16, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, and is reportedly in talks for a Hollywood project, further cementing his growing international fanbase.

With fans eagerly awaiting Kiara’s return to the spotlight, her absence from promotions remains a talking point. Whether this is due to health issues, creative differences, or scheduling conflicts, the actress’s silence has only fueled speculation. For now, all eyes are on Ram Charan, who leads the charge in what promises to be one of the biggest releases of the year.
Game Changer, Shankar’s maiden Telugu venture, is set for a grand release during Sankranthi on January 10. The film, which has been certified U/A by the CBFC, boasts a runtime of 2 hours and 45 minutes and will be released in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi in standard, IMAX, 4DX, Dolby Cinema, and EPIQ formats.
