Jayeshbhai Jordaar Trailer - Ranveer Singh As Jayeshbhai Packs A Jordaar Punch Smashing Patriarchy And More
A new brand of a leading hero whose villain is a problematic society. A harsh truth of the world is presented through wit and humor, and an important message that captures the plight of a suppressed section is at the heart of this trailer.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar isn't a quintessential Bollywood hero, rather he fights with everything that wants him to be that. Jayeshbhai prefers to create a new definition of how masculinity and hero are represented in the society.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar is directed by debutant Divyang Thakkar. Divyang's idea of a Gujarati character isn't confined to a stereotype. He wants to hold true to his craft depicting the honest portrayal of a Gujarati character.

In the trailer we see him using an ordinary family dominated by patriarchy, which is not something far from the truth. He even sheds light on the practice of doctors revealing the sex of the baby by secret codes. This practice is prohibited in India, but due to subtle indications like these, it's still prevalent.

Ranveer Singh stars as Jayeshbhai Patel alongside Shalini Pandey popularly known for playing Preeti in Sandeep Vanga's Arjun Reddy. In the trailer, they share a typical dynamics of a husband and wife, but as the trailer progresses we see them getting trapped in an adventure, running away from a society dead set on killing the fetus.

Jia Vaidya as Nisha Patel appears to be the perfect casting, her character blunt yet innocent might unfold a bit more in the movie. Bomban Irani and Ratna Shah Pathak as the problematic parents who will stop at nothing to get what they want all the while becoming villains of the stories will be intriguing to witness.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar is under the banner of Yash Raj Films. Sanchit and Ankit Balhara best known for composing Bajirao Mastani will provide soundscore for this film, while Vishal Shekhar will lend their voice.

Namrata Rao, a national award winner for editing is involved in this project. The movie will be released in Hindi on 13 May 2022.
