Kartik Aaryan’s Luka Chuppi Earns Rs 75 Crore In Two Weeks!

If there’s one actor who has catapulted to the superstar status in recent times is Kartik Aaryan. The actor’s hardwork and talent has been noticed and audiences and box-office have taken to this boy’s charms in equal measures. Kartik Aaryan’s latest outing Luka Chuppi completes two weeks and it has done phenomenal business at the ticket-window. The film has earned Rs 75.13 crore in two weeks.

While in week one Luka Chuppi did great numbers (Rs 53.70 crores in week one) and even destroyed the clash it faced from Son Chiriya, in week two despite facing competition from a Hollywood superhero (Captain Marvel) and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Badla, Kartik Aaryan’s film held strong at the box-office. Bringing up the total collection to Rs 75 crore, trade pundits have declared this film a super-hit and anointed Kartik as the next rising superstar. With some outstanding performances on screen and at the box-office, the actor is surely giving a tough competition to the younger crop of actors and is swiftly moving on top and making a place for himself. 

Kartik Aaryan's Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety had earned more than 100cr at the box-office last year and now with Luka Chuppi, he is again inching towards the 100 cr club. The young heartthrob's impressive line-up has Imtiaz Ali’s next with Sara Ali Khan which is tentatively titled Love Aaj Kal 2 and pictures and videos from the sets have already created a stir on social media. He steps into Sanjeev Kumar’s shoes for the official remake of Pati Patni Aur Woh and then he has Anees Bazmee’s next with Disha Patani.
