The Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike opened to the theatres recently and has struck the chord with the audience. Vicky Kaushal is receiving various accolades for his performance in the film. The actor plays Major Vihaan Shergill in the film. Seems like the year has truly started on a high note for the actor.

The film has opened up to good box office number. The critics too have given it a thumbs up. But the masses are totally smitten by Vicky's performance. The film depicts the infamous surgical strike of the Indian army in the Pakistan base camps. The film also stars Yami Gautam and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles. The celebs too cannot stop praising the film. The film has garnered upto 20 crores at the domestic market. 
Vicky recently reposted a video on his instagram which shows Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif and Rohit Shetty cheering for the film. Especially Ranveer Singh cannot stop praising the actor and all of them can be seen saying the famous Josh dialogue of the film in unison.
