The teaser of the Kedarnath was praised massively for its unique plot line and the striking chemistry between Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan. The makers today will launch the trailer of the film. Abhishek Kapoor shared a poster of the film today which shows the passionate love between Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan. He captioned the picture as,
The trailer has caught our attention because of the striking cameraderie between the lead protagnists. The makers will be releasing the trailer in Mumbai today as today being Monday is considered to be Lord Shiv's day. 

Sara plays a pilgrim in the film who travels to the shrines of Kedarnath while facing the 2013 Uttarakhand floods which caused severe devastation. Sushant plays a Pithoo who carries the pilgrims to the shrines of Kedarnath and falls in love with Sara's character. 

The film got embroiled in a controversy as the priests of Kedarnath accused the film of love jihad. The film is all set to release on December 7th.
