Loveyatri Movie Review: A Passionate Love Saga Which Will Pull At Your Heartstrings Due To Its Depiction Of Pure And Innocent Love!
Starring : Aayush Sharma, Warina Hussain
Directed By : Abhiraj Minawal
3/5 Stars
Loveyatri is a pure romance to its crux which is based on the colorful streets of Vadodara where Sushrut (Aayush Sharma) is a happy go lucky, free spirited lad who dreams of opening a garba academy. Cut to Michelle aka Manisha (Warina Hussain) an NRI business student with a bright future ahead but who is a complete desi by heart. Love takes over between the two when Michelle comes with her father (Ronit Roy) to India and extends her stay till Navratri where it is love at first sight for Sushrut. He is your typical romantic hero who is head over heels passionately in love with Manisha.

Loveyatri conveys its message in a simple way that it is a pure romantic filmby heart. Abhiraj Minawala instills the balanced dose of eagerness and sentimentality while portraying this fairytale romance. There are some typical nostalgia laden moments to create that romantic aura which engulfs the lead protagnists. But this constant sticking to the cliched tidings does not help the already slow screenplay. There are some positive and free spirited interplay between the characters but it does not strike a suitabke chord. But the film have a striking impression for creating a phenomenal aura for the garba with its soundtracks. Composer Tanishk Bagchi has done an exceptional work and it is quite inevitable that tracks like Chogada and Dholida will be a must on the playlists this Navratri season. The choreography by Vaibhavi Merchant looks pleasing to the eye and colorful and the other tracks to add as a suitable catalyst to carry the mood forward.

As debutantes it was obvious that both Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain have certainly more room to grow but they do share an electrifying chemistry and a striking screen presence. Their onscreen romance looked innocent and vulnerable which the plot very well wanted to show. Other supporting cast like Ronit Roy and Ram Kapoor too breathe life into their respective characters. Though the film does not have your typical intense or gritty moments to encapsulate your attention but do experience it to relive the nostalgic love sagas of previous times.
