Manikarnika Director Krish Makes Some Shocking Revelations About Kangana, Calls Her 'Rude' And That She Wanted Everything For Herself!
Kangana Ranaut's latest film Manikarnika : The Queen Of Jhansi was embroiled in many controversies right since its inception with filmmaker Krish leaving the project midway, Kangana's tiff with Sonu Sood and some objections with Karni Sena but finally the film has released at the box office on January 25th, 2019. Now Kangana's co-director Krish opened up about his sudden exit from the film and made some shocking revelations.

Talking to a leading portal, Krish revealed that he felt that Rani Laxmibai's counterparts were not strong in the film and that he has only been paid 30 percent of his total fee till now. Further talking about the film he said, 'There's not much difference (pause). But, Rani Laxmibai's counterparts are not strong. They haven't come out very well. Like for one, Sonu Sood had actually shot for Sadashiv Rao's part (later done by Ayub). Zeshan is a brilliant actor, but the audience didn't get to see what Sonu had done. If you see it, you will understand what I mean.'
He felt that lot of the supporting characters have been sidelined and that if he would have directed the film wholly, there would have been no change in Kangana's role. He revealed, 'Let me put it this way. Kangana's footage would have been the same.' Further Krish said, 'After few days, she said that iska jyaada hai, uska jyaada hai, this girl is overpowering, that girl is overpowering. Then she came up with yeh change karnahai, woh change karna hai. She also said that Kamal Jain (producer) hadn't liked the film. I agreed to make some changes. We decided we needed to shoot for an additional 6 days. And then, she suddenly rose to say that Sonu's character should be killed at the interval point. This was completely against history. Sonu was playing an important antagonist, he had a beautiful arc in the story and we had shot with him beautifully for 35 days, Sadashiv (Sonu's character) would have died in the film but just little before Laxmibai's death.'

He added about Kangana saying that, 'Kangana is rude all the time.' Speaking about Sonu Sood's exit from the film, he said, 'I felt very bad when I read in the papers Kangana saying that 'Sonu couldn't take orders from a female director'. That was annoying and bad. It never happened. What she said was untrue. I don't blame Sonu for quitting. His run time was 100 minutes and it was being chopped to 60 minutes. Who will agree? Nobody would.” Looking at the timeline, it will be natural for anyone to believe that Kangana had gotten insecure during the making of Manikarnika, but Krish says that she was insecure but that, “she wanted everything to herself.'

Well, we wonder what Kangana has to say about this. The film depicts the sacrifice and courage of Rani Laxmibai. The film also stars Ankita Lokhande, Jissu Sengupta, Danny Denzongpa and Atul Kulkarni in pivotal roles.
