Manisha Koirala Appreciated For Her Role In Lust Stories!

Manisha Koirala, who was known for her exceptional performances in Saudagar, 1942: A love story, Bombay and an uncountable assortment of movies is not only an actress but a real life inspiration. Post her victorious battle against ovarian cancer, she bounced back into cinema space with diverse roles in projects like Dear Maaya, Lust Stories and Sanju.

In her latest release Lust Stories, she plays the role of a woman who is tired of nurturing her emotionally needy husband and thus has an affair with her husband's best friend. Though a controversial character, the critics have been accepting the versatile Manisha Koirala with open arms.

Filmfare stated, "Manisha is excellent throughout and comes across as a real woman wanting a meaningful, fulfilling relationship"

Quint said, "Manisha’s role here defies easy judgement or classification. In a beautiful scene in the film, we see her listening to the boys’ club camaraderie among the two differently selfish men in her life, both of whom steadfastly want to avoid the issue at hand - her demand for her right to happiness.
