OMG!The Ranveer Singh And Alia Bhatt Starrer Gully Boy Has Already A Sequel Coming Its Way?

The film Gully Boy is being touted as a cult film which has totally revolutionized the pop culture in the country. The Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer film showcased a story of young lad Murad from the slums of Dharavi who overcomes all obstacles to accomplish his dreams to become a successful rapper. Both Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt were praised for their realistic performances in the film.

The sheer brilliance of the film definitely called for a sequel. And seems like our wish is coming true as filmmaker Zoya Akhtar confirmed recently that the script for the sequel of the film is being formulated. This truly is a happy news indeed. We cannot wait to see how the sequel of the film will have in store for us.

Reportedly Zoya revealed in a recent interview that, ' My co-writer Reema Kagti and I do feel there’s so much more to be said on the entire hip-hop culture in our country. And another film exploring the theme is being scripted and planned.'

Are you excited from this news? The film also starred Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vijay Raaz, Kalki Koechlin, Vijay Verma and Amruta Subhash in lead roles. The film is still going strong at the box office and has entered the 100 crore club.
