Padmaavat Box Office Collection: SLB's Movie Is Minting Huge And All Set To Enter 100 Crore Club Soon!

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus ' Padmaavat' starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh has been mired in endless controversies. Despite non screening in few states against the court's orders , the film has managed to do a tremendous business of INR 56 Cr.

Here is the 3 day collection breakup including Paid previews;

Wednesday -05 Cr. (Paid Previews)
Thursday - 19 Cr.
Friday - 32 Cr.
Total - 56 Cr.

Senior trade expert Taran Adarsh quoted that the movie could have collected around INR 30 cr on its opening day, and Friday collections would have touched INR 40 Cr, had it been a smooth release. The movie is having a great run in Mumbai, South India, West Bengal.

Padmaavat released on January 25th after 5 modifications and a title change. Despite threats from violent fringe outfits, the viewers flocked to theaters to watch Bhansali's magnum opus. However, the regions of Delhi and Punjab are under-performing and Gujarat has also been affected by violent acts of vandalism and wreckage carried out by members of fringe outfits, leading to non-screening of the film.
