PadMan New Poster Out Now!

Akshay Kumar’s next content-driven film PadMan, also starring Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in the lead roles, hits the theatres on January 26 next year and rightly so, the buzz around this film is on the rise. The makers have been keeping the interest alive by releasing new posters every couple of days. Today, Akshay revealed yet another poster with him and his onscreen wife Radhika on it and dropped a hint about the trailer.
Akshay plays the role of a simple villager who is on a mission to create a cheap and sustainable sanitary option that his wife and other women can use during their period. The film is based on Twinkle Khanna’s book, The Legend Of Lakshmi Prasad, which in turn is inspired from the life story of Tamil Nadu-based social activist Arunachalam Muruganantham who pioneers the cause of low-cost sanitary napkins in India.
