Pulwama Terror Attack: Varun Dhawan Posts A Heartfelt Poem On The Struggle Of A Soldier Recited By Anupam Kher!
The entire nation is reeling with the aftermath of the Pulwama terror attacks. The suicide bomber attack happened on February 14th, 2019 which took the lives of several CRPF jawans. One of the Bollywood celebs who expressed his remorse for the attacks is actor Varun Dhawan. Varun recently took to his social media to share a heartfelt poem on a soldier of the Indian Army which was recited by Anupam Kher. The video of the poem was sent to Varun by his father David Dhawan. 

In the poem, Varun Dhawan can be seen reciting the contrasting lives of a normal 18 year old boy who lives a warmly life with his work and his family along with the life of a 18 year old boy who leaves his family to become a soldier. The poem says how one boy becomes a soldier and the other goes to IIT. But while one boy gets to share his happiness with his family, the other never returns home to wipe his mother's tears. Anupam Kher also shared the poem on his social media and captioned it saying, 'I got this poem/text as a message. It compares the life of a soldier with that of a civilian. It moved me & made me realise how easy it is to take armed forces & their sacrifices for granted. Please share it with the world. Thanks to the person who wrote it. #SaluteToASoldier.' Varun Dhawan also shared the video on his social media writing, 
Varun was shooting for his next film Street Dancers in London when the terror attacks took place. Varun Dhawan along with his co-star Shraddha Kapoor and the entire team of the film observed a moment of silence for the deceased martyrs. Varun and Shraddha are currently shooting for the Remo D'souza directorial film in London. The film will be releasing on November 8th, 2019.
