The Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra is one of the most awaited films of next year. The fantasy adventure film is directed by Ayan Mukherji. The logo of the film was released recently. The duo are currently shooting in Varanasi. Many pictures from the sets have been going viral. In a recent set of pictures, the two can be seen shooting an intense sequence in Varanasi. 

In the recent pictures, the pair can be seen shooting in a boat. While Alia is looking dainty in a red long cape and white t-shirt, Ranbir is looking charming in a green shirt. The two are completely engrossed in each other while shooting.

In another leaked video, the two can be seen sitting on a boat. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. The film is the first franchise of the trilogy. Ranbir plays Shiva in the film who is said to possess some superhuman powers while Alia Bhatt plays his love interest Ishaa. The film has been pushed to a summer release of 2020.
