Reliance Entertainment Goes Live For The First Time As Vikramaditya Motwane And Anurag Kashyap Opens Up About The Success Of Sacred Games!
After the phenomenal success of Sacred Games, makers Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane engaged with fans through a Facebook Live on Reliance Entertainment's page. 

Talking about the liberty of the medium and the success of their maiden venture, Anurag Kashyap said, "Most of the doors have been close to us, so have started pioneering ourselves, be it youtube or a studio. First time we are seeing the success of us and talking about it."

While talking about the overhwleming response, Vikramaditya Motwane shares, "I am shocked and happily surprised that how broad the show has gone. In the beginning, you feel like Netflix is watched by just a group of people or signifiers, film lovers and show lovers and such people. On IMDB In one month it has got more votes than Sanju and Dev D Udaan Wasseypur and all the others."

He further adds, "The fact that you can watch the show anywhere at any time legally is new. the freedom that people have started discovering is whats also driving the viewership well".

Sacred Games which is an adaptation of based on Vikram Chandra's 2006 thriller novel of the same name, it is also the first Netflix Original from India.

Talking about the adaptation Vikramaditya Motwane shares, "We've been true to the book, though we've changed a couple of things just a bit. We did all the changes with the permission from the author of the book. I think the spirit of the show is exactly the same"

While talking about the same, Anurag shares, "Vikram Chandra was always with us. Actually Vikram Chandra was very enthusiastic and gave us all the changes."

Hailed for its thrilling storyline and intriguing characters, Sacred Games is being touted as one of the best web series to have emerged out of India.
