Known for his unconventional way of filmmaking, Sudhir Mishra is back with yet another hard-hitting tale of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s classic novel 'Devdas' with a twist.After a long build-up spread over days, the first trailer of Sudhir Mishra’s Daasdev is out.
Set in the Indian heartland, Uttar Pradesh, Sudhir Mishra’s Daas Dev is an edgy, adaptation of the classic novel that turns on its head the original plot to be a romantic thriller that delves into the addiction to power and love.
Starring Richa Chadha, Rahul Bhat and Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles, the film is slated to hit theatres on March 23. The film’s release was postponed twice due to Manoj Bajpayee and Sidharth Malhotra-starrer Aiyaary shifting its release; the film will now release on March 23.
The film will also feature Mukkabaaz star Vineet Kumar Singh, Vipin Sharma, Saurabh Shukla and Anurag Kashyap in pivotal roles.
