Ronit Roy & Tisca Chopra Are Back On StarPlus With Power-Packed Performances!

Ronit Roy and Tisca Chopra happen to be some of the most focussed and passionate actors of our entertainment industry. Over the years, they have been continuing to win the hearts of their fan base with versatile and challenging roles in all mediums possible including television. 

The veteran actors will now be back on Star Plus. Yes, you heard it right! To turn your lockdown frown upside down, the actors are here to entertain you with their power-packed performances in Hostages, a cutting edge crime thriller story created by Applause Entertainment and directed by Sudhir Mishra will be aired on Star Plus. The story revolves around a renowned surgeon Dr Mira Anand (played by Tisca Chopra). The night before Mira is set to operate on the chief minister her family is held hostage by gunmen who want her to kill him or her family will die. Meanwhile, a senior police officer Prithvi Singh (Ronit Roy) on his last day of duty has an important task to fulfil.

Ronit Roy expressed his happiness and said, “I have immense gratefulness in my heart for television. TV has given me a second life and it’s like a second mother to me. I’m happy that Hostages is airing on Star Plus. More people will be able to watch the content as a lot of them do not have access to digital platforms.” 

Tisca Chopra is pretty excited and said, “I had started my television stint with the leading GEC, Star Plus and played a role in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. I’m happy to be back on Star Plus.
