Saif Ali Khan: Baazaar Explores Very Nicely What Money Means To Different People!
Saif Ali Khan who won several accolades for his performance in the hit series 'Sacred Games' is now on a promotional spree for his upcoming film Baazaar.

When we asked the talented actor what is his upcoming film Baazaar all about, he said, 'Baazaar is a film all about money. It explores very nicely what money means to different people. So, there are rich and powerful people and what money means to them. It also shows what money means to a struggler. What does money mean to a wife or a girlfriend. That's what the film is all about.'

He further added that, "It's a dramatic film. It starts with a guy on a ledge who is going to commit suicide and how did he get there, why did he get there. There is something going to happen, the stakes are high and there is a lot of drama. If you think of these big business families, you wonder and you have also seen TV shows like Dynasty and there is also a lot of drama, behind the scenes so it is all about that drama. I love what Gauravv (director of the film) has done and created a very glamorous and glossy world. This is very genuine and Gauravv knows Bombay ( the old Bombay), the Gujarati Bhojnalaya where my character is eating and who has come up the hard way. He is an investor and has a lot of money. The film has shown a very distinctive type of business community which has never been shown before. My Gujarati businessman character is an interesting character. He is strong and has got a little complex as he has not been to Havard or Oxford but he's got a lot of brains and he has made a lot of money."
He further added that, "Whether he is a good guy or not, you have to watch the film to find out. This is what the film is all about. There is a beautiful setting, a genuine setting and they have worked hard to find real locations. Swapnil ( Swapnil Sonawane, cinematographer of the film) shot it very well. When you hear the background music, you understand that you are watching something with weight and depth. There is a slow narration and then it becomes fast. It is amazing thing for Gauravv to have done."

Directed by Gauravv K Chawla, the film also stars Radhika Apte, Rohan Mehra and Chitrangada Singh in pivotal roles and will be releasing on October 26th.
