Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, is set to make his debut as a creator and director with an upcoming Netflix series. Co-produced by Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment, the series promises a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the glamorous yet competitive world of Bollywood. The series revolves around the journey of an ambitious outsider trying to establish themselves in the Indian film industry. Packed with high-stakes drama, self-aware humor, larger-than-life characters, and blockbuster cameos, it offers a satirical yet heartfelt take on Bollywood.

In December 2022, Aryan Khan gave fans a sneak peek into his upcoming project by sharing an Instagram post. The image featured a Red Chillies Entertainment clapboard placed on a billiards table alongside two red balls and a script bearing his name. Captioned “Wrapped with the writing…can’t wait to say action,” the post hinted at the completion of the script, marking a significant milestone in his journey toward his directorial debut.

Shah Rukh Khan took to social media to announce Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, a Netflix series produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. The 2025 release is described as a "one-of-a-kind Bollywood series" that blends bold storytelling with entertainment, reflecting Aryan’s creative vision. In his post, SRK celebrated the venture as a moment of "untamed storytelling," full of "controlled chaos, gutsy scenes, and emotions," while wishing Aryan success and reiterating, "There’s no business like show business!"



This marks the sixth collaboration between Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment, following Darlings, Bhakshak, Class of ’83, Betaal, and Bard of Blood.
Expressing his excitement, Shah Rukh Khan said; “We are excited to present this new series with Netflix that offers a refreshing look into the glamorous cinematic world and what it takes to succeed as an outsider. It’s a unique narrative brought to life by Aryan, many passionate minds, and the team at Red Chillies Entertainment. This one’s going to be all heart, all hustle, and a whole lot of entertainment.”
