There are many anticipated biopics to be released this year. This has risen the expectations for the films this year. One of the most awaited biopics of next year is the Indian badminton champion Saina Nehwal biopic. Shraddha Kapoor was finalized for the role. Her first look was also out from the film. Shraddha was also undergoing an extensive prepping for the film. 

But now we hear that Shraddha has opted out of the film and Parineeti Chopra has been roped in to play the part. Reportedly, Shraddha has dropped out of the film due to the scheduling issues. That Shraddha Kapoor is having a busy year on the work front, is known to all. She is on a back to back shooting spree for films like Street Dancer 3D, Chhichorre and Saaho. The actress is not able to manage and commit her dates for the Saina Nehwal biopic. 
According to a source, 'Shraddha has dates issue. She has been working a lot and that to all the T-Series projects and she cannot commit to the Saina Nehwal biopic because of this issue.' Meanwhile, since Parineeti Chopra had shown a keen interest in the film, she has been roped in to fill in Shraddha's shoes. 

The film is being directed by Amol Gupte and is produced by Bhushan Kumar. Reportedly Bhushan said, 'We want to wrap up Saina by this year-end for an early 2020 release, so going ahead with the project is a decision taken by mutual consent. We are glad Parineeti has come on board for the film. Saina has made every Indian proud and we can’t wait to take her story to the world in the year of the Olympics.'
