Sidharth Malhotra Has This To Say About Zaira Wasim Quitting Bollywood!

Recently Dangal actress Zaira Wasim decided to quit the film industry. She revealed that her work interfered with her relegion and faith. She revealed that she did not belong in this industry.

She wrote in her statement, 'Five years ago, I made a decision that changed my life forever. As I stepped my foot in Bollywood, it opened doors of massive popularity for me. I started to become the prime candidate of public attention, I was projected as the gospel of the idea of success and was often identified as a role model for the youth. For a very long time now, it has felt like I have struggled to become someone else. As I had just started to explore and make sense of the things to which I dedicated my time, efforts and emotions and tried to grab hold of a new lifestyle, it was only for me to realise that though I may fit here perfectly, I do not belong here.'

Today, marked the trailer launch of the Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra starrer film Jabariya Jodi. Sidharth Malhotra was quipped on his views on Zaira's decision. To this he said, 'I think this is her personal matter. I don't have any say in this. And this is not even the right place to talk about it. You question about this to her please.'

The film is produced by Ekta Kapoor. It also stars Aparshakti Khurrana, Javed Jafery, Chandna Roy Sanyal in pivotal roles. The film will be releasing on August 2nd, 2019.
