Star Screen Awards: Proud Wifey Deepika Padukone Sheds A Tear While Hubby Ranveer Singh Wins The Best Actor Award!

Newlyweds Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone attended the Star Screen Awards today. The couple looked stunning at the event. Ranveer looked handsome in a black suit while Deepika looked beautiful in a black Anamika Khanna outfit.

Ranveer bagged the best actor award for the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial film Padmaavat wherein he portrayed the role of Alauddin Khilji. His acceptance speech made his wife Deepika emotional and she teared up which was truly heartwarming.

Ranveer said in his speech, ' Film main mujhe Rani nahi mili but I have got my Queen (points towards Deepika) in real life. Baby, I love you pichle 6 saal main maine kuch bhi achieve kiya hain, kyunki apne mujhe grounded rakha, centered rakha. Thank you for everything.'

He also dedicated his award to his parents and his sister along with his grandmother who passed away this year. Now this is truly beautiful, isn't it?
