The trailer for The Diplomat starring John Abraham is finally out, promising a gripping political thriller with a stellar cast—Sadia Khateeb, Sharib Hashmi, Revathy, and Kumud Mishra. Released on the birth anniversary of the late Shri Sushma Swaraj, the trailer pays tribute to her crucial role in supporting Indian diplomat J.P. Singh in 2017 during a high-profile rescue mission.

Set in the high-stakes world of international diplomacy, The Diplomat portrays a battle fought not with guns but with strategy and negotiation. John Abraham plays real-life Indian diplomat J.P. Singh, tasked with the delicate yet dangerous mission of bringing the ‘Daughter of India’ home from captivity.

Talking about his role, John Abraham said,“Diplomacy is a battlefield where words carry more weight than weapons. Playing J.P. Singh allowed me to explore a world where power is defined by intellect, resilience, and quiet heroism. Uzma’s story is a testament to India’s strength and courage, and I’m proud to bring this inspiring journey to life on screen.”

The Diplomat releases on 7th March 2025. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar (T-Series), John Abraham (JA Entertainment), Vipul D. Shah, Ashwin Varde, and Rajesh Bahl (Wakaoo Films), along with Sameer Dixit, Jatish Varma, and Rakesh Dang (Fortune Pictures/Seeta Films).
