The Vicky Kaushal And Yami Gautam Starrer URI: The Surgical Strike Finally Enters The 100 Crore Club!

The Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike has finally entered the 100 crore club at the domestic market. The film is directed by Aditya Dhar. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Kirti Kulhari and debutante Mohit Raina. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh also took to his twitter to say,
The film opened to a decent response garnering Rs 8.20 crore on its first day. The film is based on the surgical strike by the Indian Army on the Pakistan base camps on September 29th, 2016 in retaliation to the terrorist attack on Uri, Kashmir. The film has surpassed the collections of the film, The Accidental Prime Minister.
The film also marks the first solo hit of Vicky Kaushal. He will soon be seen in the Karan Johar directorial magnum opus Takht in which he will be essaying Emperor Aurangzeb.
