Varun Dhawan Celebrates Republic Day on the Sets of Border 2

Varun Dhawan marked the 76th Republic Day with patriotic fervor while shooting for Border 2 at Babina Cantonment in Jhansi, Madhya Pradesh. Immersed in the spirited and historic atmosphere of the cantonment, the occasion took on a deeper meaning for the actor. Sharing his thoughts on social media, Varun wrote: “On this Republic Day, let’s celebrate the strength of our unity. 🇮🇳 #JaiHind #1yeartoborder2.”
The much-anticipated sequel, Border 2, is backed by an accomplished production team, including Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film is a collaboration between Gulshan Kumar & T-Series and JP Dutta’s J.P. Films.
Featuring an ensemble cast that includes Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, the film promises an inspiring narrative of patriotism, bravery, and sacrifice. Border 2 is slated for release on January 23, 2026.
