Vijay Deverakonda: I'm Very Confident About Liger!

Vijay Deverakonda who shot to fame with Telugu film Arjun Reddy, has been receiving immense love pan-India for his forthcoming Liger. The actor along with his co-star Ananya Panday are having a busy time promoting their film across cities, successfully creating all the right buzz around their film Liger.  As Vijay is all set for his big "Bollywood" debut, he claims to be confident about the success of the film.

At a recent interview, when the actor was asked; "Seeing the audiences love for you, do you still have nervousness for the end result of the film or are you confident?" to which Vijay expressed; "No, I'm very confident about the film." He further stated that he has always been specific with selecting the films and he prefers to work with those who share similar vision. 

Divulging into wanting his films to be review proof, Vijay shared his experience of having a hard time dealing with political antiques during the release of his film, Dear Comrade. Deverakonda explained; "When one of my films, 'Dear Comrade' released there was a lot of politicking. People didn't want the film to do well, there were press paid to write stuff abut the film, and I was not prepared for this at all. I was a boy who wanted to be an actor suddenly I realized there's a whole dynamic that's out of my control in the film industry and then I realized that I need to remove all these external things that are influencing. I love cinema and somebody was trying to prevent me from doing it which really bothered me and then I decided I'll do cinema and try and build a direct communication with my audience , like I don't want anyone else in between. If I do a film and I tell you its good, come watch it and enjoy it. I decided to pick only films which I' am 100%  sure will work. May be I am naïve to  believe this, but, I believe that I can pick films that work . so, I've decided to work only with people that can ensure the same vision and scripts that I really like."
