Why KGF Chapter 2 Is Going To Break All Records!

The most anticipated trailer of 2022 dropped today, and the internet cannot keep calm. KGF: Chapter 2 starring Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, and Prakash Raj has created a wave of hype with its 2:57 minute video clip. We can already feel a Storm brewing. Here is why KGF 2 is bound to be one of the biggest hits of 2022.

1. Previous Chapter

KGF: Chapter one was the highest-grossing Kannada film. The film won 23 accolades for its execution, including Karnataka State Film Awards, 66th National Film Awards, 8th SIIMA Awards amongst other celebrated award shows. KGF has been planned to be a duology since its inception. It garnered an overwhelming response from the audience. On a budget of ₹80 crores, it earned ₹250 crores, thereby making it a commercial success. For three years every update of KFG has been on the trending list.

2. Star cast

KGF is known for its ensemble cast. Chapter one was filled with a power-packed cast, and this time too many will be reprising the role with a few new names. KGF: Chapter 2 stars Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Archana Jois, Ramachandra Raju in prominent roles.

The movie also features stellar talents like Achyuth Kumar, B.S. Avinash, Vasi, B. Suresha and Rao Ramesh. KGF with its grand cast and gripping performances can meet the expectations of the audience and critics.

3. Direction and technical aspects

KGF is written and directed by Prashanth Neel, known for his work in 2014's Ugramm which had a run of 150 days in theatres across Karnataka. Prashanth Neel also wrote and directed chapter one of this franchise for which he received a Zee Kannada Hemmeya Kanndiga Award for the Best Director.

Bhuvan Gowda, known for garnering critical acclaim for his previous works, is the Cinematographer for KGF: Chapter 2. Knowing how in-sync KGF is with its visual storytelling, Bhuvan Gowda is bound to show some serious artwork through this film.

Ravi Basrur, a recipient of numerous awards for his work in music, is the official composer for KGF. 'Toofan' by Santhosh Venky, Mohan Krishna, Sachin Basrur, Ravi Basrur, and Puneeth Rudranag is climbing the charts.

Indian Cinema has one of the finest technicians who, if wielded properly can bring about wonders for the movie. KGF: Chapter 2 seems to pull together all the best talents.

4. Trailer

An aptly put-together trailer that doesn't give away the plot rather highlights its strong pursuits. The movie continues the narrative, except this time Rocky (Yash) will be seen as a savior who helps people working in KGF. This time Rocky will face Adheera, played by Sanjay Dutt.

The trailer is equal parts drama and thrill. We will be witnessing this epic story unfold soon with several twists and turns as we learn more about Rocky's past.

5. Loyal audience

We are no stranger to the fact that KGF is adored by its fans. Chapter one did open to mixed reviews, but due to the support of audience, it received a favorable reception, even making it a cult hit. KGF has been in so many discussions since its last release. People have kept countdowns, marked their calendars, and even declared it to be a day of celebration. This loyal audience is the reason why KGF just might break several records this year.

KGF: Chapter 2 will turn out to be a fan choice, delivering quality Cinema and visual entertainment for the masses. The movie is set to release in Kannada while dubbed versions of Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages will be available. KGF: Chapter 2 under the banner of Hombale Films will release on 14 April 2022.
