Zero Movie: The Makers Of The Film Remove Scenes Featuring A Kirpan From The Film!

The Shah Rukh Khan starrer film Zero will be releasing this Friday. The film also stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. The trailer of the film has garnered a lot of love. But the film also received a lot of criticism from the Sikh community on Shah Rukh holding a kirpan in one of the posters.

However the makers had defended the fact saying that SRK was holding just a normal sword instead of a kirpan. The controversy turned ugly and the community filed a complaint against the makers at the Bombay High Court. According to a leading publication, now the makers have deleted the scenes with the kirpan in the film.

The makers had revealed in a statement that, 'Despite the fact that the film and its poster depicted only an ornamental dagger and not a 'Kirpan', steps have been taken by the respondent to alter the relevant scenes. The portions in question have been altered through visual effects to depict an ornamental sword '

The film will also have a lot of cameo by celebs like Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Kajol, Deepika Padukone, Karisma Kapoor and the late Sridevi. Salman Khan has a fun cameo with SRK in the song Issaqbaazi.
